There are two types of hand-painting in the
case of ceramics: Under-the-enamel and on-the-enamel. On-the-enamel
painting is also called porcelain painting.
Painting under the
enamel means that the raw material is first burnt then painted, after
that covered with transparent enamel and finally burnt again. While
on-the-enamel painting means that after the paint is put on the enamel a
third burning at 800 C makes the tile perfect for use.unique tiles are
always made to measure according to the needs and conditions. This all
resembles my father’s words:
"If
you want to be more than just the average, do not obey your instincts.
Do things that are permanent for the future even for decades or even
centuries so that your name will be remembered through your works."
